Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football that played in the National Football League. He played for 17 years on the field. He is considered among the greatest tight ends to ever play. Additionally, he was the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez was also one of the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.

Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End is currently a FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has been a regular guest presenter on FOX NFL KICKOFF from the start of the start of the NFL's season in 2017. The hour-long pregame show precedes FOX NFL Sunday, which airs each Sunday, at 11 AM ET, in the NFL Season.
Gonzalez's claim to be retiring from the NFL after 2013 is not the case. On March 15 2013 Gonzalez signed with Falcons the two-year deal worth 14 million dollars. Randy Moss retired in 2013, and Gonzalez aged 37 at the time spent the last year of his playing career in the position of being the NFL leader for receiving yards.
