Ms. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural, licensed clinical social worker who has more than 13 years experience working within the sector of non-profit. She has worked in number of different settings, such as with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with substance abuse problems, sexual assault survivors, and partners who have been victimized. Since 2019 the Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. Presently offering Telehealth Behavioral health services. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team which focuses on post- and prenatal women. She is a specialist in trauma-informed care and offers EMDR therapy for adults. She provides individual and group therapy and the medication-assisted treatment program. The referrals to special treatment are also provided. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society to assist homeless animals in finding homes. Best Friends' motto, "Save Them All", is something she believes passionately in.
